Stoner's motogp Le Mans Winner 2011

Casey Stoner ended the race at MotoGP Le Mans in the first position after showing outstanding performance during three practice session and qualifying race. While Marco Simoncelli who started the race on the second grid, failed to maintain his position until the end of the race, because Andrea Dovizioso managed to end the race in second position. And for the first time, Valentino Rossi getting third place at fourth series MotoGP Le Mans.

Since the race began, Honda has dominated the race at MotoGP Le Mans. Casey Stoner, Marco Simoncelli and Dani Pedrosa directly lead after the race began. Pedrosa, who started the race in third position, won the first position, but after passing a few corners, Stoner took over first place again.

Meanwhile, there was a very exciting battle between Simoncelli and Andrea Dovizioso to compete for third place. Simoncelli directly show a very good performance, so Dovizioso can not give meaningful resistance to Simoncelli. Moreover that the Yamaha Factory Racing rider, Jorge Lorenzo tried to to pass Marco Simoncelli, but the rider of the San Carlo Honda Gresini provide strong resistance to Lorenzo.

Through a fierce battle, Simoncelli won the third position. However, there was an incident when Pedrosa tried to pass Marco Simoncelli on the straight track. When Pedrosa wan to pass Simoncelli, he crashed into Simoncelli rear tire, so he bounced out of the track and Pedrosa should end the race sooner. However, the bad news is that Pedrosa suffered a fracture  injury on his right shoulder after he crashed it.

After seizing the second position, Simoncelli penalized for doing illegal maneuvers that are dangerous when fighting with Pedrosa and he was called into the pits. So Simoncelli get drive-through penalty. At the end of the race, Valentino Rossi fought with Dovizioso to compete for second position. The battle between Rossi and Dovizioso become increasingly fierce, but before the race ended, Dovizioso managed to past Rossi, and Dovizioso managed to finish in second position.
